UV printing usually refers to using lithography or flexography to print Ultraviolet Curing Inks. So standard solvent ink printing technology used with an ink that is cured to a hard and rub resistant state using a flexographic or lithographic printing press.
 
UV DTF is a UV curable material that is formed in a semi-solid form (like hot melt) into tacky built up multicoloured images that are transferred from a release sheet to the final end use item and then cured with UV.
